Sigma’s Contemporary lens series includes the 16mm f/1.4 DC DN. It is designed for E-mount cameras with cropped sensor APS-C format. The lens has a 24mm equivalent focal length on APS-C cameras. It also gives you more control over focus and depth of field. Many dispersion and aspherical elements are used in the internal design to eliminate chromatic aberration and color fringing. A Super Multi-Layer Coating on the lens reduces lens flare caused by bright light. The lens incorporates a stepping AF motor for quick, accurate, and silent autofocus. The lens has a rubber sealing that makes it dust and splash-resistant for outdoor use.
