Logitech's Wireless Music System for PC can be called the most flexible transmission system within Logitech's portfolio, because it allows for broadcasting digital audio from any Windows PC to a tiny Music Receiver box. The box carries standard RCA and 3.5 mm stereo mini jacks, so you can connect it to your home stereo, attach a headset, a powered speaker system, or anything else that uses either one of these connectors.
The signal is transmitted by the Logitech USB music transmitter module that basically looks like a USB memory stick with a fold-out antenna. After plugging the stick into an USB port, Windows will prompt you to install the drivers that can be found on the software CD. Logitech also provides an small desktop stand for the USB transmitter, which functions as a USB extension cable.
Logitech specs a signal range of up to 330 feet and we were able to maintain a connection over roughly 250 feet. In any case, this Bluetooth-based system should be powerful enough to penetrate all the walls of an apartment and cover small-to-medium size houses as well.
